One of the benefits my company has received from working closely with PROTECTUS was making the transition from expensive point to point T1 lines to Virtual Private Network (VPN) inter-branch communication. This involved both data, and VoIP traffic and an array of applications requiring a continuous link to our data center. Intermittent application lock-ups were causing frustration, and productivity losses at the branches we first cut over to VPN. The application vendor was no help in correcting the problem and unless a solution was found the great monthly savings anticipated when dropping the T1s was not going to be possible. Once PROTECTUS applied their traffic analysis tools and techniques, they were able to identify and resolve the problem enabling my company to realize a significant ongoing monthly savings. With the assistance of PROTECTUS, the project was a success.
